JACKSON, Mich. – The PMA Canada Exposition 2006, September 11-13, 2006, at the Ottawa Congress Centre, Ottawa, Ontario, will feature no less than 16 PMA Breakout and General Sessions and approximately 70 exhibiting firms participating in the second annual event. Also featured will be sessions for attendees of PMA member associations PSRO™ (Professional Scrapbook Retailers Organization™), PPFA® (Professional Picture Framers Association™), and SPAA (Sports Photographers Association of America), all contributing to an outstanding educational docket.
The PMA Canada Exposition 2006 will serve as the PMA North American event for the fall season. The long-standing PMA Fall Imaging Conference will not be held in 2006.
“This year we are going to concentrate our North American fall event efforts on the PMA Canada Exposition,” says PMA Executive Director Ted Fox. “This event enjoys strong support from all the major buying groups in Canada, as well as independent photo retailers, framers and scrapbook retailers. PMA and its officers are looking into reformatting the U.S.-based PMA Fall Imaging Conference for 2007. As a consequence, we made the decision to cancel our commitment to hold the PMA Fall 2006 Imaging Conference at the Boston Marriott Copley Place this September.”
