HEALTH AND SAFETY PROGRAM

For industries listed in Table 7 in the Occupational Health and Safety Regulation, a health and safety program must be initiated and maintained in facilities where there are more than 10 employees. (Photo processors and picture framers are not included in Table 7). (Occupational Health and Safety Regulation 1996, 22)

JOINT HEALTH AND SAFETY COMMITTEE (JHSC)

A JHSC is required where 10 or more workers work at a construction site where the work lasts longer than 90 days. A JHSC is not required for photo processors or picture framers. (Occupational Health and Safety Regulation 1996, 38)
